very cool elephants. The whale butt's cool, too, I guess. I'm just not a big whale butt fan.

Fantastic, Ms A! I'm so glad you've got your drawing shoes on because tomorrow and the next day, we're going to DRAW! I always think that whale is so surreal in that room and you certainly got that part beautifully. I agree with Wally that the elephants are really well done.

wonderful Amanda! great composition, colors and you capture so much with so few lines, how long did you spend on each?

yeah, how long on each? Looks like the blue whale just leapt off the balcony there. LOVE the elephants - they are very, very well done.

Amanda:
Thanks so much for coming yesterday. It was nice albeit too brief. Your drawings are wonderful and it was a treat to get to flip through your whole book.

One of my favorite places in the city. Magnificent take on the elephants.

thanks guys. Wish I had gotten there earlier and had stayed longer. I was really just starting to psychically commune with my little stuffed friends.
L and C.-the whale sketch took about 20 mins. I think I spent about an hour on the elephants.

It was fun meeting you at the museum and your sketches are great. I do like the butts in Loretta's photo too.
